Need Natural Remedies for Husband With Heart Palpitations

Posted by Josie (San Antonio Tx) on 04/05/2016 22 posts

My husband Bill has been having palpitations (irregular heartbeat) for the past 3 days. I need to find something to help his heart to beat regular. I don't want him on any new medicine. I don't like all the side effect on these medicine. Bill had quadruple by/pass in 2009 and 2 strokes in 2010 and 1 stent in 2010. We went to the ER and the doctors said that they didn't know what was causing the irregular heartbeat and said that he was not in any danger right now. He need to wear a monitor. These are the medicine that he is taking right now for his heart. He has to wait for 2 weeks to get the monitor and he is very uncomfortable and anxious. Some times shortness of breath. Please help me find something natural to help him.

Metoprolol tart 25mg twice a day 1 in the morning and 1 at night.

Lisinopril 10mg 1 in the morning.

Pravastatin sodium 20mg 1 at night.

Aspirin 81mg 1 in the morning.

Josie, run over to the "vitamin shop" and get a bottle of magnesium oil. spray your husbands feet and chest (3 or 4 squirts). Rub it in. It will sting some because people who have heart problems generally are mag deficient. During the day, have your husband take an Epsom salt soak in the tub for 20 minutes. Warm water. Next, ask the MD to have his magnesium RBC's checked (red blood cells)....per Dr. Carolyn Dean - this is imperative. Go to her website - her info will give you guidance.

Good Luck!

Josie, I agree with Myway re the magnesium. It certainly helped me with the irregular heart beats I experienced.

My cardiologist ruled out any real problems (as I assume your husband's doc has done) and said I had premature atrial contractions (PAC's) and premature ventricle contractions (PVC's) of benign origin.

Of course he didn't suggest magnesium taurate - figured that out from reading Dean and others, but did say they were made worse by caffeine.

I've not found that to be true in my case - stress and worry are my triggers. A kind of gentle reminder that I need to slow down and take care of me before I take care of everyone and everything else.

Good luck to you and your hubby. This site is so helpful and this is my first post.

Be well ~ annie

This is for MyWay:

I got your message on the magnesium oil spray. I just got it and I need to know how often do I use it on my husband? He has been having irregular heartbeats everyday. Also you said to have him soak on the tub for 20 minutes with Epsom salt. Does he soak on the tub every day? Also with the magnesium oil do I put it on him everyday when he is having irregular heartbeat? Thank you so much for helping him. please let me know if I need to do this everyday or not. I'll be waiting for an answer. I'm going to put it on him right now.

Thank you and God bless.

Hello Josie, spray your husband with the magnesium oil spray 2 times a day. After you have sprayed him, a light coating of a carrier oil (jojoba, castor, coconut, olive) will help the process. It may sting a bit (deficiency symptoms) but over a weeks time, this will diminish. As long as he is on meds, he will need this.

Do an Epsom salt bath daily, preferably in the evening. The baths will help with absorption.

Let us know how things are going. Be sure to follow Dr. Carolyn Deans blog.
