Looking for cancer remedies. Have a 9yr old male bull mastiff at 185lbs. Big boy and he is not fat, but he is over sized. He is suspected of having lymphoma or leukemia. They wanted to do a bone marrow test but I refused to have them drill a big needle into his bone. So what happened was we took him in for a routine visit and my wife wanted the vet to check his lymph nodes on his neck. They were slightly enlarged. He also got a Lepto Vaccine. I didnt want to give it but he talked my wife into it. Anyway, 2 nights later he had what we believe to be his first ever seizure. It was very short, less than 10 seconds because he sleeps right besides and for some reason I woke up at 4am and he was sleeping. But about 1 minute after I woke up he seemed to be stretching but then tensed up and did a little shaking and that was it. Never seemed to be that out of it aftwards. So we took him back to the vet the next day and they did a full blood work up. The only bad thing was his lymphocytes showed to be a 13,000 when it should be no higher than 4500. So vet said 95% chance it is leukemia or lymphoma. We did not want any chemo or anything so we immediately put him on 7 capsules of Transfer Factor a day, 2 oz. 2 times a day of Essiac Tea and just recently about 4 days ago put him on 10 drops of Frankincense. I swore his lymph nodes were smaller than they have been the other day but today they seemed bigger again. But the funny thing is he has loads of energy also. Sometimes he will lay around alot but lately he has wanted to play and go outside and go for rides. So I am a little befuddled. Is this working or is it not. And wondering how long it will take. I guess the only real way to know is to have another lymphocyte test done if I dont see marked improvement of his lymph nodes. He has not breathing or swallowing problems at all.

But just to be clear, yes it was a seizure because I have seen them before and he also had a second one the day after the visit we had when we brought him back to the vet for the first one. But none after that.

And yes, I also thought it could be the Lepto Vaccine shot but his nodes in his neck were a little enlarged when we brought him there. And the lymphocyte test showed elevated, although I think I read somewhere that a Vaccine reaction can increase those levels, but I do'nt know why his lymph nodes in his neck would still be enlarged this long after. It has been about 5 weeks since original visit.
