Seeking Alternative Methods to Cure Lymphoma in Dog

My dog, Molly-lab mix, just got her test results positive for multicellular lymphoma. The traditional vet suggests chemotherapy and pills. I feel I must try alternative methods, cancer happens for a reason, I'd like to believe is goes back to diet. Has anyone been able to reverse or overcome canine lymphoma besides chemotherapy?
