Ringing in Ears After Oral Surgery

Does anyone have any remedies for ringing in the ears. Had surgery in mouth and when woke up had ringing in ears that will not go away!

Mary, I suggest you take a pair of earplugs to your dentist, as dentists do not protect your ears.

In my experience, too, in response to LOUD noises, the brain responds with a ringing sound that can go on and on, for what seems like forever.

However, in my experience, if I sleep well, then that ringing sound disappears by the time I get up in the morning. And all I need is ONE night of great sleep.
