Scabies Mites in Nose and Mouth

Posted by JT (Plymouth, MA USA) on 03/10/2024

What can I do to get rid of scabies that are in my nose, mouth, and lips? I also have it everywhere on my body. I have used oral ivermectin 5 times and permethrin cream as many times. A lot are gone but still feel random crawling and biting. A week after first discovering them in my mouth, all of my gums have receded exposing the roots of my teeth and every time I eat I have these pink globs coming out from between my teeth and the mites are on these globs. I look at every speck with a jeweler's loop and see them. I am not sure if the globs are pieces of my gums or another parasite. My doctor won't treat me again and gave me a referral for a dermatologist that just opened who is taking people more quickly than six months (the usual time for new patients) despite the reason. They don't care if you have a contagious condition like scabies. I don't think they would/could treat them in mouth and nose and lips. I found one mention of a single case of oral scabies on pub med. They were treated with 100 mg of oral ivermectin 3 times daily for 15 days. I'm sure doctors wouldn't know this since they don't research issues like the people who have the problem. We know more than the doctors!

If any of you know what I could do to tackle this, PLEASE let me know. The longer it goes on without treatment the more you have. I have been putting the permethrin cream I have left in my nose but it's only helping a little as it doesn't stay on. Can't do that for my mouth or lips. I'm afraid they will suggest surgery which I am terrified to have my lips and nose cut into. I don't have the money to see a dentist which I know I need to see.

I would try a dual frequency generator, go to frequencygenerator.com and zap those Scabies away. It's very affordable, and it's based on Hulda Clark's Protocol it entails buying a few herbs like black walnut hull, Clove, woodworm, eliminating all sugar in the diet and cleaning up your environment, starting with your laundry detergent

If it were me, I would be spraying colloidal silver in my mouth every few minutes. I would be brushing my teeth with liquid grapefruit seed extract too. Best wishes for you conquering this!

You can purchase ivermectin online. Take the required dosage according to the study you referenced, while also doing some of the treatments recommended here on Earthclinic. No need to wait for a doctor to help you.

I tried buying ivermectin online for rosacea. It was not the real thing plus is very expensive. If you know a site that sells the real thing could you send me the link? I have been taking artemisinin but not working.

Hi JT,

I use the ivermectin horse paste labeled “Bimectin.” I chose that one because it's cheap and is a translucent paste unlike some of the others which are made white by the addition of titanium dioxide. I ordered the Bimectin from petsuppliesdelivered dot com. Durvet also makes an apple flavored clear ivermectin paste, which I've purchased off Amazon in the past. Really any of the horse pastes will do since all of them that I've seen contain 1.87 percent ivermectin by weight.

To get 3 doses of 100mg of ivermectin per dose (300 mg ivermectin per day) then you would need approximately 16.05 g of the horse paste per day.

One tube of paste is contains 6.08 grams. I calculated the amount of paste you need per dose is 5.35 g. So nearly an entire tube. You'll need a mg scale to weigh it out. Remember, the paste by weight is only 1.87% ivermectin. So if you take 5.35 grams of the paste per dose, it will contain 100 mg of ivermectin.

Going for the full 15 days at 16.05 grams of paste per day, you'll have taken 240.75 grams of paste in total which amounts to 39.6 tubes at $6.95/ tube. So all in, your cost should be around $278 (plus maybe sales tax and shipping).

If you don't want to go the horse paste route, I can recommend alldaychemist dot com for ivermectin tablets. They sell boxes of 100 tablets at 12mg each. 300 mg of ivermectin for 15 days is 4500 mg total. So you'll need to order 4 boxes of the 100 count 12 mg tabs to have enough. They are selling for $100 a box. They have coupon for 10% off, so you'd pay around $360. I believe the shipping is free. I've ordered several other things from alldaychemist and my orders have arrived in about 10 days or less.

Personally, I use the paste because it's easier for me to weigh out the exact amount that I want so I can dose each person according to their weight. Not as easy to do with small tablets that would need to be divided. But in your case, you can just take 8 and one-third of the 12mg tablets if you end up going that route to get the 100mg.

In addition to the ivermectin protocol, you can add 1 teaspoon of Chlorox bleach to 8oz of filtered/ distilled/ bottled water. Swish for 30 seconds vigorously. Use daily for a couple of weeks. It's very effective in eradicating spirochetes and other pathogens, so hopefully it would eliminate scabies and whatever else shouldn't be there. Then it is safe to continue using the Chlorox solution a couple of times per week indefinitely. I've learned this from a couple of dentists. One of those dentists uses a microscope to check the organisms in the mouth and biofilms from gum pockets. It rids infections and allows your body to create a healthy microbiome.

Hi Madelyn,

I got the bimectin and took it for the first time 2 days ago. I got very dizzy and bleary eyed and couldn't really see straight. Has this ever happened to you? Not sure if it is a die-off effect or a side effect. It took another day for it to wear off. I'm not sure what to do now. Do you think I should decrease the dose? I'm just looking for your guidance as you use it for many things. I don't want to give up on it as I need a cure but I would be grateful if you could give me your suggestion as to the best way to proceed with this based on your experience.

Thank you.

Hi JT,

I just wanted to add one more thing- make sure to check out the Scabies section under the Ailments page here on Earth Clinic. I think you'll have good luck using turpentine and diatomaceous earth.

I want to thank you Madelyn for your suggestions and for giving me your calculations for everything. Just wondering what you use the ivermectin for? Does the clear paste have any flavor that would make it taste bad and does the green apple flavor contain a sweetener? I have started using the bleach and water and think it is helping. I have been swabbing my nose with it too and it seems to be helping. I listen to a lot of health summits and one doctor said that spirochetes are a major health issue and I have 3 root canals and crowns that these health professionals say are filled with bacteria and should be removed as they cannot be cleaned. Would the bleach solution work on those? We have no holistic dentists in my town. The mercury fillings are another very expensive problem. Any solutions for that? You seem to be a wealth of knowledge. Just wondering if you work at Earth Clinic since you know so much. Again I really appreciate what you have done for me with your replies.

Hi JT,

You're welcome! No, I don't work at Earthclinic. I've just been interested and learning about natural health solutions for many years.

I've used ivermectin for viral infections. I've gotten sick several times while traveling and because my kids bring home sicknesses from school. I never tested to find out what the infection was, but ivermectin is effective against covid, RSV, flu, etc. The FLCCC Alliance has tons of info on their website if you're interested in learning more about this.

The apple paste is not sweetened and mildly apple flavored, but mainly just tastes like medicine. It's not terrible. You may want to mix it with applesauce or something since you'd be taking a larger quantity. Otherwise, at the dosages I take, I put it in a couple of empty capsules usually.

Glad to hear the bleach solution is working! The problem with infections in and under root canals and crowns is that you cannot reach the infection simply by swishing a disinfectant in your mouth. The bleach solution would work to clear the infection if you were able to access those infected spaces, but since you cannot then the only thing I can think of is using DMSO. I did see a study that showed DMSO was able to sanitize the interior of teeth and reach into all the microtubules. I'm not sure if it would work all the way underneath a root canal in the jaw bone where there are commonly infected cavitations. I certainly don't think it would hurt. And DMSO is able to penetrate the entire body so it is very likely it will help. If I were you, I would try making a solution of 50/50 pure DMSO and distilled water with a few drops of Lugols iodine added. Swish that around the mouth for a few minutes twice daily. Give it some time and then have the dentist check your progress. If you can ever find a dentist that uses ozone treatment to clean out infections that would be really good too.

As far as the mercury fillings, unless you have them removed and replaced by a dentist that follows a strict safety protocol (so the mercury doesn't get released into your body during the removal), then your only option is to take heavy metal chelators to absorb the mercury that's in your body. Chlorella and zeolites are a couple of good options for that, but there are many others. All the best to you.

To Madelyn from Idaho,

Could you point me to the turpentine and DE solution you referred to? I don't see that under scabies and would not want to guess in that. Do you take it internally? If anyone knows how to use it for scabies I would appreciate the answer.

Hi JT,

DE and Turpentine can be used both topically and internally. DE is rubbed into the skin and can be left on overnight. Turpentine is usually diluted and then applied topically. Internally, try taking 1/2 teaspoon of DE twice daily. You can take more but start slowly so you don't have a die off or detox reaction. Even 1/2 teaspoon can trigger a detox. I like Jennifer Daniels turpentine protocol for internal use.

Make sure you're using the desktop version of Earthclinic so you can see the full content. If you're using a mobile device just select the desktop version from the menu on the left corner.

Here's the scabies page. You can click on the section for DE to go straight to those posts: https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/scabies.html

Here's a post from the scabies section where someone used turpentine:

Scabies - Turpentine Soap and Cryotherapy

Turpentine bar soap cure overnight. Lather your body up to 5 times and let it sit on your skin for 2-3 minutes then rinse off. Repeat as needed. Do not put anything on your skin after you rinse and dry. I ordered my bar of soap on Amazon Search Turpinetine Bar Soap by Diamond G Forest Products. It's the best 9 dollars I have spent. I also ordered the Pure Gum Spirits of Turpentine to put some in the hand soap and hair shampoo to keep them off of me. Wash everything for the next few days to get rid of them.

I do Cryotherapy as well to freeze them suckers off of you. Keep in mind you will be cold, but you will see the parasite fall off your skin like dust. I praise God he placed this in my path to cure.

Another person suggested a turpentine and borax bath.

Rob from Kentucky posted this on turpentine:

Here in Kentucky, we use turpentine baths to get rid of turkey mites bites (infant star ticks) when we hike in the woods. It makes since that since scabies are a mite, it can be used for them also.

Published in the (Roy and Ghosh Medical Journal Dec. 1944), From the Department of Medical Entomology, School of Tropical Medicine, Calcutta) When it was noticed that the incidence of scabies is at present extremely high and that drugs such as benzyl benzoate, mitigal, tetmos, etc., are not available in this country, it was felt that it would be worth while to undertake an investigation with the object of discovering a sarcopticidal drug which would not only be efficient but would also be readily available. In this connection, a large number of indigenous preparations commonly used for scabies in this country were tested, and in course of this investigation oil of turpentine was observed to possess properties whereby the mite was quickly overwhelmed and was soon killed on contact outside the body.

https://europepmc.org/backend/ptpmcrender.fcgi?accid=PMC5218805&blobtype=pdf

To take a turpentine bath, pour a capful of turpentine about 1 teaspoon into a full tub of warm/hot water. Add bath bubbles to help draw the turpentine into the water because oil and water don't mix well. Humco Pure Gum Spirits is sold here at grocery stores and is made from real pine trees. Not synthetic made crap sold at hardware stores which will burn your skin we found out.

To make a topical salve, mix 1:4 Turpentine to Olive oil. Apply to infected areas.

Hi JT,

It's not surprising at all to hear you're having a reaction. First off, it is a relatively higher dose you're taking. Second, if you haven't done parasite cleanses before, especially if you haven't done a parasite cleanse recently, then you're having die off reactions. In other words, your body isn't able to deal with and eliminate all the waste quickly enough so you're feeling the effects of those toxic substances as they get released by the dead parasites.

I didn't feel any negative side effects from taking ivermectin. However, I took a smaller dose once daily at 0.4mg per kg of body weight which worked out to around 26mg ivermectin once daily. I had also done parasite cleanses in the past, so I probably didn't have a ton of die off. Although, I can't say for sure I wouldn't have a reaction to a higher dose like what you're taking.

Here's my suggestion. Start slowly and work your way up. Try taking a pencil eraser sized amount of the Bimectin paste once a day. If you feel ok at that amount, increase the dosage to twice a day. After a week or so of feeling no side effects, try moving up the dosage.

It's important to make sure your bowels are moving and you're drinking plenty of water. You can take psyllium fiber in water to help sweep out the intestines. Cascara sagrada works well to keep the bowels moving. You want to aim for 2 bowel movements daily and Cascara can help achieve that. I would also take activated charcoal and chlorella (at different times) to bind up toxins. Some people like calcium bentonite clay, but it can be a little constipating. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. I have done a parasite cleanse unknowingly. I had a stomach thing and did not eat for 3 days. The third day I had bad cramps so took some charcoal. I often use it for headaches as I have many allergies and sensitivities. I must have starved the thing inside me as I saw something in the bowl that was like 15” long. I took a picture of it as there was nothing in my stomach and emailed my doctor to see if she wanted to see the picture and she did not reply. When I contracted the scabies from Maine where I went to a wedding, they obviously did not clean the cabin I stayed in. When I started feeling them bite my doctor was on vacation so I saw someone else who did look at the picture and prescribed me albendazole and ivermectin. I collected 100's of things from my bed for the next week and also from toilet. There were many different “things” I found when I went digging and I put them in a jar. Still my doctor did not want to see them. This has been going on since September and here I am looking for alternatives as what I was prescribed obviously didn't work nor would it help with my nose and mouth. I have given up on the one dose of ivermectin and permethrin cream once a week. I will try your suggestion. I did have a skin reaction on the 3rd time on ivermectin and seems I am having it again. The previous time it only responded to nystatin cream so not sure if it was from an imbalance in my skin or a purging. If you have any experience with this I would like to know how you solved it. Does that alldaychemist sell diflucan without script?

Hi JT,

I don't have any experience dealing with scabies. But I do really like turpentine and diatomaceous earth for any and all things parasitic (which scabies are in my opinion). And of course, ivermectin is very useful in so many areas (parasitic, viral, even cancer). I'm sorry to hear your doctor is not interested in helping you with this. I would venture to say it's because he/she has no idea how to deal with these things. I think you've got a good plan of action with following the ivermectin protocol you found in the PubMed article. Just work your way up with the ivermectin dosage if you can comfortably do so without any major side effects. Simultaneously, give some of the other suggestions posted here on Earth Clinic a try. I did see that alldaychemist sells a couple of generic versions of the diflucan. Hope this helps.

Clarification for JT- you do not need a script to order from alldaychemist. At most, just fill out a short form. They are an Indian pharmacy and thus, don't have the same restrictions as in the US.

So you have never experienced any skin issues from the ivermectin? Unfortunately it is my face that gets affected.

When I asked (begged) my doctor through email to refill the scripts I got from the 20 something year old doctor I originally saw, she gave me a referral to a dermatologist. A nurse called me from her office who had read my email and said the same thing happened to her and she went to a psychiatrist who told her she was having a nervous breakdown and it was all in her head. I just laughed and then I was sent a referral to a psychologist. Mind you I had not been to her office. I tried calling some derms and there was a waiting list of 6 months for new patients. So I emailed her that I couldn't get an appointment so they gave me a referral to the walk in clinic. This doctor wouldn't come near me to look at my lesions. She just gave me another script for ivermectin and permethrin even though I asked her if I should try the sulfur lotion since the other cream wasn't working. My doctor moved my annual physical to July from April obviously hoping I would be cured by then. Sorry for venting. I'm sure others have experienced similar things from their doctors who didn't believe them.

Yes, you're right. I've heard many other stories similar to yours about medical professionals telling their patients everything is in their head and not even trying to investigate what the real issue is. I'm sorry to hear you're getting such a run around from your doctors. I never did get any skin reaction from using ivermectin. It sounds like it would be good to treat your skin topically. What was it you needed the prescription for- the refill scripts?

JT, You have my most sincere sympathy. If it was me, and if I was in Plymouth, MA,

1) I would use Ivermectin, both orally and topically.

2) I would buy Ivermectin, a.k.a. Horse Paste, a.k.a. Horse Dewormer, from my nearby farm supply store.

3) You say you have used Ivermectin 5 times. Sounds good so far. However, I would not stop after 5 treatments. Especially if you are seeing improvement, any kind of improvement, then you want to keep going with that treatment.

4) I would avoid MDs, as veterinary medicine is NOT, and has never been their field of expertise. Further, the way the system is set up, if in the unlikely event an MD helps you with Ivermectin, or any other veterinary medicine, they can lose their (state) license to practice medicine.

5) If I had a bit of time on my hands, I would also shop around with the idea of buying medicine, such as Ivermectin, cheaper from an online pharmacy. One example is alldaychemist dot com. However, according to that site, you will need a script, and you will not have the script. Further, I would never wire them any money. If I bought from them, then I would insist on the use of my credit card, but it is unclear to me if they accept credit cards. Further, their flickering website does not make me feel good.

6) JT, for our benefit, please share your experience and tell us what it is that WE should do to avoid getting infected with scabies.

I hope this will help you and everybody!
