Scabies Questions and Comments
For the Scabies section:
Maybe someone could help me on some of my questions.
1. Is clove bud oil the same thing as clove oil?
2. Is DMSO a liquid or a powder?
3. How much Diatomaceous Earth (DE) to put in the clothes dryer? Will it harm the dryer?
4. If physical contact with DE kills mites, why not just put DE in your bed sheets instead of washing them every day? Someone mentioned putting DE in their shoes. Same idea.
Also, a suggestion. I am nervous about spraying alcohol/and or peroxide on my furniture, floors, etc. Someone mentioned using a hair dryer (as hot as you can stand it) on your skin. When I buy anything at a garage sale that can't be washed, I “treat” it all over with a hot hair dryer beause I am worried about bed bugs. This should work for mites, too, although it would be time consuming to treat a couch or other large item because of the small size of the dryer. (I think a heat gun would be too dangerous.)
Lastly, I am so apprecitive of this website. I urge everybody to donate to its upkeep.
