Sister Will Only Drink ACV in Grape Juice for High Blood Pressure... OK?

My sister has high blood pressure and some times it get to high. She don't like the taste of apple cider vinegar, so I decided to put it in a little glass of organic grape juice. I know that the organic grape juice has sugar and it is bad for her, but she will drink the organic grape juice with the apple cider vinegar in it. I also know that the Apple Cider Vinegar with lower her blood pressure. Should I keep giving her the organic grape juice with the acv? she also takes her medicine for the blood pressure. I'm trying to keep it under control and keep her off the medicines as soon as I see that her blood pressure is under control. Will it do her harm if I use the organic grape juice with the apple cider vinegar?

Dear Josie,

Personally, I think that sounds fine. I think the benefit of the vinegar is worth it. And I think organic grape juice is good for you! This is a great idea and I may have to try it myself. :)

J: You can purchase ACV in tablet form and evade the bad taste problem.

My husband takes it in V8 juice. He does not taste it that way. I take it in cinnamon tea with honey.

To Josie / San Antonio, TX: When I want to drink ACV in water (for example, 1-2 teaspoons ACV in 8 ounces water) for various health reasons and need to sweeten it to make it tolerable, but avoid the sugar in fruit juices, I add a teaspoonful of the natural sweetener, stevia. Also, for health purposes, I always use organic, unpasteurized ACV with the "mother." - Larry
