Taken off methotrexate after 13 yrs on it 3 months ago for RA. I don't want a fetal cell medicine from the RA specialist n he is very pushy. I have had a lot of joint pain for 3 weeks now that I had to break down n take 5mg prednisone in the am n pm. Please help me with any suggestions.

Eating clean 95% since January of 2021. No sweets no wheat no meat other than clean chicken n no daily n gluten free no process foods or can foods. Basically salad n chicken n water n omega 3 n turmeric n smoothies with products to reduce inflammation.

I found that this helps a lot with my RA in my hips and knees. It's a topical rub. You can make it on the kitchen stove.

Lemon Peel, Olive Oil, Eucalyptus Oil

Also, I'm taking Boron tablets 3mg daily. I tried Borax 20 mules but it does not agree with my stomach. It took 6 weeks for me to start seeing results. I was about to stop taking them but they say the average time to see results are 1 – 3 months.

P.S. Prednisone weakens your immune system and causes yeast overgrowth. Keep a check on your tongue for a white coating. If you see a white film, you got candida from taking the prednisone. It throws everything out of balance. Welcome to western medicine.

I've upped my potassium after looking into Dr. Berg videos on youtube. I don't buy, and I don't push or sell his products as they are way out of my reach financially. His info is backed by studies, and so far, I find his information has helped me immensely. I'm 68, and I looked up potassium supplementation because it's hard to get enough, for me, through diet alone.

I read starting lower is best so I only do 500 mg a day, more into the evening. I make an electrolyte drink with Organic lemon juice, magnesium capsule 100mg into glass, and just 1/4 tsp of some Potassium citrate powder I bought in bulk. On top of the many foods I eat that have potassium, I get a pretty good "starting" amount and want to try just a bit more.

I don't have any arthritic pain now, but mine was not real bad. I sure didn't want worse since it was already waking me at night, and miserable enough.

I'll put a link, but he is not pushy on his products, and please remember that every body is unique so you have to start slow on the DIY remedies, but omgosh, I am being helped so much!! Potassium for Rheumatoid Arthritis Pain
