Struggling To Treat Multiple Illnesses

Posted by Darcy (Englewood, Colorado) on 04/16/2009

Multiple Illnesses: I was diagnosed with hyperthyroid which leads to different complications in treatment. I am on medication to slow things down and repair the thyroid and also beta blockers. I don't want to be on medication or received radioactive iodine. I see a lot of info for hypo-thyroid but they seem to be very different in cures. I have 5 kidney stones. They seem to be a concern because they want me to have surgery, I cannot because of the thyroid complication. While getting a physical they discovered cervical cancer and a suspicious lump in my breast. With so many different illnesses I really don't know what to do. The doctors don't help and I just get more fatigued daily. I've tried many suggesting on this site but often wonder if it is helping or making matter worse. I drink acv (2 tbls in 16 oz of water), do the oil pulling about 3x a week and try to eat healthy. Any recommendations? My five children surely miss their healthy mom.

Hello Darcy - What I suggest is have you looked into Wheat Grass Juice, Barley Grass Juice and a raw food diet. (No Sugar, No Flour, No processed/Packaged foods). Do a search on the name Ann Wigmore and buy the book "Wheat Grass Nature's Finest Medicine" by Steve Meyerowitz. I currently grow my own Wheatgrass and it's helped me out greatly with my illness. I believe I'm close to curing my problems with these items, supplements & diet. My biggest problem is staying on the diet but I sure feel the positve effects of it when I'm on it. One last thing I bought my wheatgrass kit from the Internet at ____ and for myself I feel fresh grass juice is the best but you can also get these grasses in pills, powder and frozen but again fresh juice is the way to go for me.

Hello Darcy, Sound like you are having some bad problems, but remember that woman who quoted her favorite verse in the Bible: "And this too shall pass". When things look the darkest, that is when we need to remember this verse the most.

I think the wheat grass advice is good, but I'll bet you have a lot of so called weeds growing in your yard that will do just as good. Do you have birch trees, dandelion, pepper grass, water cress, purslane, broad leaf plantain, clover (use both leaves and blossoms), or others you know to be non-toxic? However do not gather these from close to a road because of toxic automobile fumes, and especially areas where someone has sprayed weed killer or crops, or any other toxic substance. If not I know that you can find baby spinach leaves at your local grocery, as well as other lettuce leafs, or even cabbage leaves. Just remember that the more colorful or deeper green they are, the more nutritious. When you collect your leaves, wash them even if they are prewashed then toss a handful or two in the blender with a pint of distilled or good filtered water (to eliminate the fluorides and other unwanted stuff. Puree them to break them down into something your body can digest and drink a pint or two of it per day. The lady who wrote this recipe quoted some doctor as saying "If you are green inside, you are clean inside" and said she had seen many people with severe chronic problems cured of them with these greens drinks. I also think the other fellow gave you some good advice on eating raw foods as much as possible, the explanation being that the raw foods supplies enzymes destroyed by cooking them, thus not making your body waste fuel and energy on making its own enzymes to digest your foods. Of course a positive attitude helps also. Some pretty well known doctors are working hand in hand with others teaching their patients to use visualizations such as imagining that they phagocyes (special kind of white blood cells) are making like "Pac Man" in that old computer game and running all over their bodies gobbling up all those cancer cells where ever they find them. You might want to think about this and can probably find something about it on line.

You also noted that I did not mention doing anything with these leaves except washing them before pureeing them in the blender or smoothie appliance. This is a form of raw foods, you're only giving them to your body in a more useable form. You will find that a lot of our local plants have antibiotic, anticancer, antiviral and other chemicals in them the same as those obtained from Africa or India or elsewhere. The reason why you don't hear a lot of alternative doctors recommending local plants is probably due to two reasons: 1)they have an interest in selling you the foreign plants at an exorbitant price and 2) maybe they haven't bothered to learn about the local ones because they don't want you going out to pick your own. If you are familiar with bloodroot (which I call wild nasturtium because it's leaves look like a nasturtium leaf) is one of our local plants used in Hoxsey's formula that was said to be so effective against cancer.
