Things Crawling Under Skin After Bug Bite

Posted by WinonaS (Florida) on 05/18/2022

Hi Good folks. I'm trying to find out what it is I have.

I live in Florida and was in my garage and got bitten by something and my hand started itching like crazy. Since then it's been a nightmare. If I did not have a loving supportive hubby and family, would not want to exist any more. I feel betrayed by the healthcare system. I am a nurse… I cant believe this is happening. So I feel things crawling under my skin/ tissues, and even behind my right eye. My right leg is the leg they have chosen more than anywhere in my body. I got a spooky2 rife machine and that has decreased the sensations. I did Mri to the hand and serum/ parasite test - negative.

I'm going to see neuro and psych next. My labs are normal…

Does anyone know a good practitioner I can see who will take my symptoms seriously?

I'm sorry, but I can't help with a practitioner. But, I can tell you, study this site. Look at morgellon's as well as parasites, chiggers and other bugs, then follow those protocols. Most of them are going to starve, smother or otherwise deprive the pest of what it needs to survive. Soaks in borax/baking soda/epsom salts and then slathering on something oily will draw them to the surface and then smother them. Essential oils added to the water or oil will kill them faster and soothe your skin as well. Stopping sugar completely is always good, for the longer the better. Adding a pinch of borax to your water is not only good for arthritis, but acts as a soap and weakens the barrier the put up (biofilm) to protect themselves. I would also (just my opinion) try to get some ivermectin--it works on animals to kill parasites like lice and mites, it works on humans, too. I'd do the required dose, then wait 10 days and do it again (that's what I do for fleas--treat, wait until any eggs hatch and kill them before they lay more eggs). And, last, be sure to treat your home and yard. That's where you got them, you don't want to get them again. Don't despair, many holistic treatments take a long time to gain ground. Don't let the system convince you that it's all in your head, if they had it they'd believe you. Good luck.

WinonaS,

Do you have any other symptoms besides formication, such as joint or muscle pain, itching, swelling, erythema, fatigue, etc.?

Hi Art:

I'm having joint pain/ muscle pain, especially right leg. Funny thing though- the spot where I think I got bit- right palm - I still feel something moving every now and then… I feel the worms moving around my right leg- back, top of my head, behind right eye. I've been taking over the counter worm medicine… but it works long enough to thin numbers… I'm still working so I'm taking pin x etc just to function. I found a doctor Yu in another state I'm going to see. Thank you for your advice/ help.

WinonaS,

Some health issues that are noted for causing the feeling of crawling under the skin or formication are :

Of these the one that would be associated with a bug bite is Lyme disease. Lyme disease can be tested for and that seems like a reasonable thing to do so you can accurately direct your efforts toward being cured. Three symptoms associated Lyme disease that you have are muscle pain, joint pain and formication.

It might also be worth looking at other symptoms of Lyme disease to make sure that you didn't miss any and to add further confirmation to the idea of Lyme disease that you can also mention to your doctor. Here is a link to common Lyme disease symptoms :

https://www.cdc.gov/lyme/signs_symptoms/index.html

Since you are going to see a doctor soon and hopefully get a confirmed diagnosis of Lyme disease or something else, please come back and tell us your diagnosis and then the Earth Clinic community can give you their best recommendations.

Btw, Lyme disease, if you look at maps showing incidence of Lyme disease, you will notice that it seems more likely to get it in certain areas of the US, such as the North East or North West, but it is common in Florida also.

Wynona, it is really concerning that the doctors do not know that a bite by an insect can, and commonly does, result in eggs being laid inside the person's skin/various tissues. Larvae are likely what you are seeing.

Have you asked for IVERMECTIN? It was invented for River Blindness. The inventor received a Nobel Price for it. Safe and effective. Get a doctor who understands TROPICAL diseases.

I am so sorry to hear you are suffering with this horror. I lived in Florida where I contracted it, moved to another state 3 years ago and thank God I am much better. My home became infested and my animals. I believe it is a bio-weapon, do some research on Dr. Fauci and weaponized Sand Flies. The head will become the epicenter, the main thing that helped me was Nu-Stock, which is sulfur for animals, I would mix it with lotion or carrier oils and rub it into my scalp, I also had to cut my hair very short. Also, taking Ivermectin/Fenbendazole protocol internally helps. I believe this is gene specific, as it only attacks certain people, mostly women. My son also came down with the symptoms, but after using NuStock for a few weeks, became symptom free. Others in our household experienced no symptoms at all.

A strong belief and faith in Jesus Christ is also essential, Prayer and fasting is monumental in getting through it. You are in my prayers.

I just was reading about fenbendazol or Panacur. You might research use in humans.

reviews seem positive. There is a die-off so you would need to start dosing when you can be home.
i am just learning about this so do not have a story to encourage you.... you are not crazy. Do not let them get in your head with it all being in your imagination. Been there myself and it only hurt me & delay healing.

Hi GertieJr:

Got my hand on Ivermectin inj/ other antiparasitics as well as the other meds to kill the symbionts bacteria that some parasites need to live.

Also found Sharkman protocol. I'm kind of soured on going outside now. I'm living in a rental while my house is being built… so I will be moving the end of the year. But I'm super careful of bug insect bites now. Florida is literally Jurassic park. Ive always been careful - no sushi, everything cooked, wash vegetables, wash hands frequently, wear gloves, boots outside, etc.
My biggest wakeup call though is how the doctors, without any testing/ labs looked at me and diagnosed me as only having anxiety.

The symptoms I'm having is the crawling/ itching under the skin/ subcutaneous areas… mostly right leg. The bite was to the right hand… also itchy/crawling top of the head, indigestion, and diarrhea at times. I have to be honest that communities like this are what is keeping me sane.

I know Florida had people posting they vacationed there, and it came in from the ocean and they contracted this problem which is also autoimmune. If you are stressed you are more vulnerable to it. Alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin AEC and D

Keep your thoughts in peace, like harp music in background while sleeping and I use 3x5 cards to stay on certain thoughts I want to have, I just keep saying that my body heals itself and I can overcome anything. Fear is a battle and solves nothing and I know this firsthand.

Hey, doll.

I have read all of the responses above and it looks like you're in great hands. The only thing I might add to your protocol would be red light therapy.

Red light therapy/ infrared light heats you from deep within so maybe it will kill whatever is crawling around under your skin.

Considering you knew when you were bitten, I would rule out lyme unless it was a tick bite. I worked in law-enforcement along the Gulf Coast and was bitten by sand flies on a daily basis, I believe this is the source.

Winona,

If you're planning to try to get tested for Lyme, it is important that you have the right ones. See: https://www.lymedisease.org/lyme-disease-test/

You can find a TBD*-literate doctor here: https://www.lymedisease.org/find-lyme-literate-doctors/

FYI, though, almost all do NOT accept insurance and are generally booked months in advance. Still, it's worth it a call.

With Morgellon's, there are generally visible colored "threads" in the wounds, and as I'm sure you already know, there are a LOT of parasites that can infect humans. Do you have pets? Could a wild animal have gotten into your garage and made a nest, or been accidentally trapped there?

BTW, I would skip the psych evaluation - you're not crazy.

I've been disabled by Lyme (and its many co-infections) for over 25 years.

Hope this helps!

WinonaS,

If it turns out to be Lyme's disease, please update us once that is confirmed. The best bet is early treatment because although the main cause of Lyme disease is the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi , but the tick bite can often times introduce other pathogens and it is best to go after these pathogens as quickly as possible to prevent them from getting a foothold. The longer they are present, the harder it is to eradicate them and the greater the increase in symptoms.

On a related note, the incidence of Lyme disease in Florida is about 20, 000 cases per year. This means that some doctors will not be familiar with diagnosing testing and treating Lyme disease as may be the case in the doctors you have seen so far. In the North East of the US, doctor's are more familiar with recognizing the symptoms and diagnosing it. They also know the best labs and tests to request for completeness and accuracy. Knowledgeable labs will often include other tests for bacteria that can also be frequently introduced by the tick bite. If you don't get them all, you can have health related issues from the others later on.

It might be worthwhile for you to do a little research to try and find a Lyme disease experienced doctor in your area.

WinonaS, I would try anti parasitic cleanse, a good and deep one.... for itching places lavender oil works on bug bite places.. You should be able to contact one of the Heath guru's who have an online practice dedicated to post injury of injections.. It may not be the same thing but same protocol is worth trying... what ever it is, is internal, and injected whether by needle or mosquito..Dr ardis and Ruby are two of this group. they have contact information on Stew Peters interviews....

Remember, most lyme testing is not accurate. The CDC & NIH's position on Lyme is not accurate. Just because a test says you do not have lyme means nothing. If you have the symptoms...treat yourself for lyme. Two reliable testing centers are Frye Labs in Arizona, and a retired doc in Colorado Parawellness Research. What city in Florida do you live? There are various reliable medical centers in FL.

I have complex PTSD, which causes dysregulation of the nervous system. When I was extremely ill, I constantly felt like things were crawling on/under my skin, (as well as a plethora of other awful symptoms). Even something that we think is no big deal, can be perceived by the nervous system as trauma. If you can't find an answer to your issue, I advise you to check out the work of nervous system expert Irene Lyon.

Hi WinonaS.

My suggestion is to give this homeopathic remedy a shot: LEDUM palustre 30C potency. It is for punctures in the skin, and a bite certainly qualifies (from personal experience, along with my 30+ years background with classical homeopathy). This is a common first-aid type remedy, and I would hope it'd be easy to find in a decent health food store in your area. Take 2 little pellets under the tongue (not 3-5, as it might say on the label; not about quantity with homeopathic remedies) 3x/day, along with taking as needed (listen to your body). If it doesn't bring any relief, it will not make anything worse (no side effects), so nothing to lose. And inexpensive... Also, important to take no food, drink, etc., 30 min. before and after taking the remedy. I am wishing you all the best!! - Doreen

1) Around age 38 for me started peri-menopause. When I felt like things crawling under my skin and also electrical shock like symptoms, it was a sign of low progesterone.

I had Lyme disease after having 10 tick nymphs (so small you cannot see easily) on body for 48 hours. Never felt stuff crawling under my skin so I don't think you have Lyme. After 10 days of being bit, felt flu symptoms, mostly extreme fatigue. With time, my joints became arthritic.

I was fortunate in that I found an energy healer. He did some frequency treatments, and apparently the little buggers (as they were affectionately called! ) didn't dig the new frequencies and abandoned ship. After that I began a few-month nutritional regime to repair the damage.

If I got it or any bug-type thing today where I suspected a transfer of parasites, I would try ivermectin, an anti-parasitic remedy. If you need something else, try chlorine dioxide (I believe it is sold as 'miracle mineral' since the authorities are on the look-out for its sale.)

May you live in interesting times ...

I went through what you've described for ten months straight and came close to doing something drastic. I went to multiple doctors who all said I had delusional parasitosis. Yet not only could I feel things moving under my skin, on many occasions, I could see them. Through an exorbitant amount of research, I got a doctor to prescribe Ivermectin and then, Hydroxyzine for the itching. Then, I ended up doing a liver cleanse and got the dry mixture for making the tincture at bulkherbstore dot com. It's called liver cleanse mix. And then I began taking showers and while still damp, I applied a thin layer of high quality olive oil and did this daily, without fail. I took liposomal vitamin C, vitamin D and followed a clean eating diet regimen. Additionally, starting with just 1/8 of a teaspoon in orange juice, I added food-grade Diatomaceous Earth and every 10 days, increased the amount by a pinch until I was taking 1 rounded tablespoon a day. Stop using store bought soap. Try to get homemade natural goat milk soap. It's divine and soothing! To help quell the itching, I rubbed Icy Hot on and it worked wonders.

The single most important thing I can tell you is stay calm and pray. Whatever this is, I felt like got much worse, the more upset I got. I believe you. Many are going through this and you are not alone. Oh… and…. I took Melatonin at night so I could sleep. I took it with the Hydroxyzine and it did the trick. [Look up Morgellons]

Here is my 2 cents worth…

You stated, “bitten by something and my hand started itching like crazy”. The same thing happened to me 4 years ago. I suspected it was a mosquito transmitted disease. I've noticed a new mosquito around this area, about ½ the size of a tiger stripe. Must be one of those Bill Gates genetic modified creations. It bite me and my whole arm was tingling and itching. Have not been right ever since.

Assuming for a minute it was a mosquito bite that is causing your symptoms.

Bites from mosquitoes carrying certain viruses or parasites can cause severe illness. Infected mosquitoes transmit West Nile virus, Yellow fever, Chikungunya, Zika, Eastern Equine Encephalitis Viruse, Western Equine Encephalitis, La Crosse Encephalitis Virus, St. Louis Encephalitis Virus, Arboviral Encephalitis, Malaria, and some types of brain infection (encephalitis) and many others to humans.

Five different mosquito-borne viruses (chikungunya, o'nyong-nyong, Mayaro, Ross River, and Sindbis) have been associated with arthritis in humans.

The joint pain you are having could be caused by “Infectious Arthritis”. Dr. Garth Nicolson, M.D. of the Institute for Molecular Medicine in Newport Beach, California reports that he's used a sophisticated diagnostic technique called DNA-PCR testing to demonstrate that Rheumatoid arthritis victims often have hidden mycoplasmas infections. One Canadain study found Mycoplasma wenyonii DNA was confirmed in wild-caught mosquitoes.

I personally know a woman in Arkansas with Malaria for 5 years mis-diagnosed by doctors. Geeez!

Another friend of mine, her kid went camping in northern Florida with his dad and his friends. Many of them got bitten by ticks but her kid was the only one to develop rocky mountain spotted fever. He had to stay at the Tallahassee Hospital for 2 weeks getting treatment.

Point is, if there is no physical evidence that the “doctors” can physically see. They write you off as mental. So you're left with figuring it out yourself.

These options I am presenting are good for ALL INSECT VECTORS.

#1st Option

Oral antibiotics will be useful to treat early stages. Amoxicillin 500 mg 4x/day for 14 days or Doxycycline 100mg 2x/day for 14 days should work. If your doctor will not prescribe them to you. These can be ordered thru a veterinary supply house.

Also Ivermectin is a good option as an anti-parasite… Be sure to stay within the weight to dosage ratio if using veterinary OTC.

Colloidal Silver is another good option… According to an article on the GlobalHealingCenter, there was apparently a small Australian clinical study demonstrating that silver nanoparticles (colloidial silver) were helpful against the ravages of Rheumatoid arthritis caused by an unnamed bacterium.

Dosage is 1oz CS in 2oz water 4x/daily for 1 month.

#2nd Option

Oregano Oil and Herb # 1 antibiotic/antimicrobial on Earth. Oregano will kill any kind of "germ". Proof of this statement can be found in the Quarterly Review of Biology, March 1998 and the Indian Journal of Experimental Biology, June 1977, among other authoritative publications.

When oregano oil was first tested in 1910 it was described by H. Merindale as "the most powerful plant-derived antiseptic known." It has been found effective both in killing multiple bacteria (germs) and preventing their growth. It demonstrated to be 26 times as potent as phenol known for its strong antiseptic properties. (Phenol is also a versatile precursor to a large collection of drugs, most notably aspirin, and many herbicides and pharmaceuticals).

The use of the oregano as an antidote for venomous bites from snakes and insects.

Carvacrol and Thymol are responsible for the essential oil's powerful antifungal, antiviral and antibacterial activity. They inhibit harmful bacteria that can potentially cause illness and infection.

How to take: 2-3 drops Oregano oil in 2oz juice 3-4 times daily for maybe 8 months depending on severity.

Ref articles: https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/lyme_disease3.html#oreganooil

#3rd Option

Chlorine Dioxide. Many people have found relief from lyme and other insect disease's by using MMS. I use it in conjunction with the salt/c protocol. You typically start with 1 drop of MMS mixed with vinegar, citric acid or lemon/lime juice. Let sit for 5 minutes and drink with water or any juice with no vit. c. You can go to www.miraclemineral.org/ for a detailed explanation and instructions.

#4th Option

Sea Salt CURED my Lyme Disease in DAYS!

You can go to https://www.earthclinic.com/cures/lyme_disease3.html#saltandcitricacid for a detailed explanation and instructions.

Good Luck

I have had success with whole green leaf stevia and a few other things. After years of mosquito and tick bites and being over "jabbed" way too many times until 10yrs ago I have suffered from chronic fatigue, back pain and various other things. I have tried a lot but as far as the chronic fatigue and possible lyme or other parasites what has helped was high dose vit D and a 1/8th to 1/4th teaspoon of powdered stevia leaf. I harvest the leaves and powder it myself. Also nebulizing thyme and oregano tea made with only distilled water. A couple years ago I was peppered a few times with mosquito bites and then wound up with sudden onset artritis and frozen shoulders. Ive had such fatigue the past decade or more but it got worse. I did online research as best as I could and found a few things that help with fatigue but now with adding stevia 3x a day I am able to wake up early in the day and not sleep till 12 or 1pm. I take the stevia as an anti lyme disease effort and whatever else it kills off.

I have used chlorine dioxide and it works for me also. There are various things I use and cycle different remedies because whatever the problem is, I do not want it getting used to any particular remedy. You have to find what works for you. Any remedy I have used, none of them have harmed me in any way other than something mild like loose stool on occasion. Things like oregano, cloves, thyme, garlic are anti parastic and do not harm the human body. I have even used thyme and oregano in a nebulizer when I had that flu that has been in the news so much the past 2 years. That was a huge benefit. I have used battery tapping with great effect. I use when needed the hulda clark zapper also.
