Took Fosamax Now Have Rotten Infected Tooth
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis 3 years ago, put off taking that Fosamax type drug, hoping to fix it myself with exercise and diet. I got worse so I was put on the drug. Now I have a rotted, broken and infected tooth, a bump in the gum below it like a bone spur which wasn't there a couple weeks ago. I have Golden seal capsules, brushing with H peroxide, listerine, and am now on amoxicillian 500mg, and I can do nothing now for removing it for 6 months - pending I stop immediately taking the drugs. We're talking September! I'm between a boulder and a boulder. HELP????
M: this is a typical yet unfortunate side effect of these drugs. They destroy the metabolic functions of teeth & bones and since these need to survive they grow outside the former habitat; this is the spur you professed.

HI U MIKKI, , , , , , , , , , , youngun, you just happen to be living in the right state for this problem because you can find a dentist that uses Ozone. I encourage you to research what Dental Ozone can do for you in this situation. If you buy in, then locate a dentist that uses this therapy. I think you will be surprised.
Wish you well=======ORH=======

HI U MIKKI, , , , , , , , , , OOPS, addressed your tooth but not your Osteoporosis. My wife at age 74 avoided this by doing Bio-identical hormone modulation via an anti-aging doctor. Her best friend is 9 years younger and doing the same thing with synthetic hormones from an Allopathic M. D. She crushed a vertebrae last year just by coughing.
One treats the problem and the other treats the symptom. Hope this helps in your decision as to how to address osteoporosis.
And, I still wish you well.=====ORH=====
