Trying To Help Father With Colon Cancer

Hello,
My father was diagnosed with colon cancer, they call it carcinoma Adeno. He is currently waiting to have a CT Scan to see exactly what is going on. What can I do to help him, my mom is very desperate and does not know which road to take in helping him on the natural path. What would be the best alternative for him right now.
