Baldev,
I have had dry eyes, but at night time only. I made a mix of glycerine and xylitol and mixed it into aloe vera gel which I applied on the eyelids, but not in the eyes and not close to the eyelashes. They are both humectants and attract moisture to the area and the aloe gel acts as a soothing carrier gel. The xylitol and glycerine together also have anti-irritant qualities. This was helpful at alleviating my night time dry eyes. I mix 5% glycerine and 5% xylitol to the aloe vera gel. I only made small amounts at a time because you use very little per application which is best done with a Q-tip. I would use one ounce(30 ml) of aloe gel and 1 1/2 grams of xylitol and 1 1/2 grams of glycerine and mix with a Q-tip until the xylitol was completely dissolved.
Another consideration is drinking Amla juice which is noted for alleviating dry eyes.
Some people also find dry eye relief in a high quality fish oil supplement taken regularly at 2 to 4 grams per day or borage oil at label dosing.

Dry eyes can also be a symptom of demodex mites. Do you get stars, or chalazions which are large eyelid styes? If so search demodex here.
