Posted by Daniel (Cornwall) on 05/12/2023

Hi. I have a vitreous detachment in my left causing flashes of bright orange yellow when I turn it left or right. What can I do to heal it? Thanks. Daniel

You probably need to see an eye doctor today, now! This is very serious and probably will require surgery. My husband has had this and they, to my knowledge, do not heal themselves. Do not delay.

I did see an eye doctor and it's time for old fashioned remedies haha. Thanks for your reply.

Hello Daniel, I have had these flashes for years. It was explained to me that I was dehydrated and the gel in the eye gets thick and with eye movement, tugs on the retina. Yes it can get worse and you may detach a portion of your retina. I know I am chronically dehydrated. Finally I was advised to add a half teaspoon of either Celtic sea salt or the Himalayan pink salt in a bottle of distilled water every day. The flashes are gone and I am much more comfortable.

Good luck!

If you were part of the Amish community, this is what you would use.

E-W(Eyes) - Eyes and visual machinery can be repaired. Increases circulation to eyes and optic nerve, retina and lens. Floods oxygen to the congested areas of the eyes. Pressure-causing sinus deposits are liquified and strings of matter may be expelled from the eyes in the cleaning process. This is not an infection, but rather a cleaning of the material clogging up the circulatory and sinus passages around the eyes. Optic nerve reception is sharpened. A very serviceable eye wash can be made from 20 to 40 drops of E.-W in cup of distilled water. Obtain a couple of plastic eye cups, fill with the dilution ( the eye wash is best used when it is at room temperature to reduce stinging, which is a normal response as circulation improves), place over the eyes, lean the head back, and let them go swimming for 5 minutes, 3 times per day. Flutter the eyes around in the dilution. Flush out the congestion, revive the circulation to the eyes, improve the vision and flush out cataracts. If eye cups are unavailable, saturate two cotton balls with the dilution, hold over the upper bony ridge of the eyes and squeeze slightly so that drops can trickle into the eyes. Repeat until well.*

COMBINATION: Wood Betony, Eyebright, Bayberry.

DOSE:10 to 40 drops after meals. Also rub 40 drops on the sides of the nose, over the upper cheek bones and on the temples and forehead, 3 times per day, and as given above.

You can buy it at: https://www.heavenandherbs.com/product_info.php?cPath=41&products_id=109

Good Luck....

I'm all alternative anyway. Unless you're rich in the UK options are very limited. If they can't ship here perhaps I could get a herbalist to make it.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Daniel

Out of all the herbs and oils. D.M.S.O.

is one of the miracle wonders. It should fix what needs fixing. Apply one drop morning and night.

God Bless Daniel

Hi Daniel. I would dilute said drop with distilled water, 3 or 4 drops. Eyes are so sensitive. However, if you were to even use it straight, it would heal! It would sting like a mofo for a minute or two, but it would heal the eye. Studies show that dmso corrects the dna back to what it's supposed to be doing. It should be noted that when I started posting this sh*# on red*it, the death threats began. Hiding much?! Hey, if it's good enough for million dollar racehorses, its good enough for you, too!

Very interesting. Can it undo genetic changes and correct damage from medication? Daniel

Question to Gary or anybody who may know regarding DMSO: I already have had cataract surgeries replacing the lenses in my eyes. Can I still use drops of DMSO and not dissolve the replacement lenses? I want to improve my eyes, especially the retina (3 detachments in the past) and I also have Cornea Fuchs' Dystrophy but not cause damage to the new lenses. Thank you

Try homeopathy. Arnica 3c and Hamamelis Virginiana 30C twice a day under the tongue.

Hi Reba

I am not a Dr., so if I had your eye condition, I would stop D.M.S.O. and for keeping eyes at a good condition, use Cold Pressed Castor Oil - Hexane free.

I have been putting 2 drops in each eye, once a week or whenever they get dry/itchy.

Castor Oil is named the palm of Christ.

It will never hurt you.

God Bless

Gary

Hi Daniel,

Just wanted to pass along a product that I just ordered for my left eye that was hit by a laser. I had a small cataract & since the laser hit it, the cataract changed & now my vision is slim to none. I saw these two products Can-C eye drops & Oculotrophin PMG 90 tablets. These tablets are small & are a whole food supplement. I have a problem swallowing pills so these are somewhat flat & don't taste bad at all. You take 1 tablet three times a day.

The Can-C eye drops have helped so many people with so many different eye problems. These must be kept in the refrigerator after opening. When not opened keep out of sun, & heat sources of any kind. The bottle is plastic & is rather small. The easiest way to get the drops to come out of the bottle is to turn it upside down & shake it gently, then take the lid off & line it up over your eye, just gently squeeze the bottle & a drop will come out very easily. usually you will be able to get two drops. If you try squeezing the bottle without shaking it upside down, you have to be Hercules to get the drop out. Don't touch the bottle on the eye or lid. Please read all the reviews about this product. The N-Acetyl-Carnosine is an antioxidant & that is the key ingredient in this product. This is not the same as N-Acetyl-Cysteine. I can't say as of right now how they have helped me with my cataract & my vision since I have just ordered these two products.

All the best to you!

Deborah

Update: the flashes stopped after about 2 weeks but I have a lot more floaters. I've been taking hyaluronic acid twice a day and selenium. Fingers crossed.

Btw, I have permanently dry eyes, eye socket tissues, nose and sinuses because I took a 5ar inhibitor medication for years. I stopped a year ago but these symptoms refuse to leave so that's probably not helping either.

Hi Daniel,

I just found this review on Amazon while researching the health benefits of bilberry for Earth Clinic. I thought it would interest you!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for floaters

I had a post vitreous detachment that left me with a swarm of black floaters. I started taking the bilberry extract and within a month half of my floaters disappeared. I still take it, two years later, right now I only have one floater left, hopefully will do YAG on it soon.

Here's the page with this product review.
