What Can Cure Thin Hair On 3 Year Old Son

Posted by Darby (Des Moines, Iowa) on 12/18/2014

Hi everyone! I don't know where to post this question so I'll try it here. It's been 5 months since we had my son's head shaved hoping that thicker hair would grow. We had done this 3 times since his 1st birthday. My husband's side of the family had thick, healthy hair - mine too! However, our son's hair is thin and slow to grow. He's taking vitamin C and food supplements, but he's a picky eater.

Does anyone know what to do to make his hair healthy and thick? Appreciate the help in this. Thank you!

I would leave your son's hair alone. Picky eater might have to do with food absorption or allergies issues. My niece would not swallow food she doesn't like. She will keep it in her mouth until allowed to spit it out. Meantime some nutrients already absorbed .

DO NOT supplement his diet on your own. Find a holistic pediatrician. But if he is healthy otherwise, he might just have thin hair, and nothing is wrong with it.
