What Can My Husband Do for a Pituitary Gland Cyst?

My husband was diagnosed with a pituitary gland cyst. The doctors told him to just wait. I am worried because he is getting nauseated. He is not as active like before. Is there is anything beside surgery that can help him. The doctors told him his hormones are ok. He has kidney stones, he has been healthy all his life, he don't take any medications, he is 67 years old.
Please, please let me know if there is something we can do to help him.
