Wormwood Poisoning to the Kidney After Smoking It

Hello all,
Thank you for helping. So a few days ago someone suggested wormwood as an alternative to tobacco to smoke, I have it in the garden, it has caused strong pain in the kidneys. Obviously I have stopped straight away once I worked it out.
Please could you suggest what I can do to cleanse and help them heal? Already drinking nettle soup .
