Would Viagra Help A Swollen Prostate?

I was wondering what y'all think about using Viagra as a treatment for a swollen prostate? I don't have insurance, and my doctor told me it may be an option for me, but I'm used to using homeopathic remedies for most problems. Plus, if I take it every day, won't it be ... noticeable?? However, I use the bathroom quite often, and would like some relief. It wouldn't be hard for me to get, since I buy my wife's asthma medication from a Canadian pharmacy, but I was wondering what others thought. Also the dosage?? Let me know what your recommendations are.
