Can Anyone Help For Microscopic Worms In Hair
I hope someone can help me end a 3 year ordeal! I've been losing hair for 3 years and there isn't too much of it left now. I can feel the squiggles on my scalp and finally got the microscope out and I can clearly see the snake like critters coming out of my hairs. They actually move the hair around on the slide as I'm looking at them. Can someone please tell me what the heck I have and how to get rid of them? My hair is shredded and it looks like they are eating it. I have tried ACV with baking soda, EVCO, borax, special shampoos, you name it. Last night I put full strength ACV on my hair and it does calm things down. I do think whatever this may be is all over me, all the way to my toes. I can feel squiggles all day long. Any help would be awesome. Thanks everyone!

Smoky, garlic is excellent for getting rid of parasites. You need to cut it up in small pieces and eat it raw. It is used for animals all the time to purge them of parasites.
Also iodine will help as well taken internally. At least 50mg-100 mg per day. Iodine also needs companion nutrients, magnesium, selenium (brazil nuts), vitamin c
Research both garlic and iodine.
Chlorella and spirulina also would help detox your body.

Hello, You probably have lice. My son had lice this summer and I got it too. They are very tiny, until they mature, and can be very itchy. Unfortunately they are very difficult to get rid of because they lay eggs. You must treat and re-treat within a 7 to 10 day time frame. The best way to get rid of them is with drug store shampoo (or you can smother them with olive oil by saturating the hair and sleeping with a cap overnight). You should treat them, re-treat them and re-treat again to be sure they're gone. Wash all sheets and towels in hot water and vacuum too. ACV will get the nits loose from your head and make them easier to comb out of the hair with the special metal comb you need to purchase at the pharmacy.
Once you use the shampoo, rinse your hair with the ACV. Let the ACV sit on you hair for about 3 minutes before rinsing it out. Use a spray on conditioner to comb out your hair. Then use a white bowl and rinse the comb frequently. This is how you will see if they're really gone. The shampoos are drying and you may lose some hair because of the harshness of the shampoo but, it will kill the lice. The olive oil works well but is messy and a pain to sleep in. Good Luck!

Hello again! I have continued to do my own investigating and have found some answers. First of all, I took a sample of water from a house I lived at just a year ago and immediately saw the critters on the slide. I was so grossed out to see how many there were and they were alive and moving! I had always had a gut feeling the water there was not good, but I never looked at it or had it tested. So, I went out and bought some cat flea shampoo and when I got a shower I mixed it 50/50 with Suave coconut shampoo. I had already tried 2 different lice shampoos and they simply had no affect on the critters. After using this my scalp finally was at rest! My hair stopped moving! The affect was immediate! I was able to comb out my hair much easier as it had been horribly tangled no matter how much conditioner I put on it. I was so amazed!
I will be working on this condition for a long time I am sure as I can still feel squiggles in my toes, under my fingernails, in my eyes, and various parts of my body. I now am realizing all of my symptoms are probably tied to this orgainism. I have had scalp pain, itching, feeling of crawling on my head and forehead, pimples on my forehead and neck, eye pain, ear pain and ringing, deep ridges on my fingernails, and occasional rashes on my stomach and legs. I know that flea shampoo is not a natural way to go but I have tried so many different remedies that I couldn't do any more. I plan on doing a whole body detox once I feel I've gotten the upper hand on the whole situation. I am taking baths with 2 cups of ACV on occasion and they are just amazing. It make the whole body feel good and I sleep really well afterward. Coconut oil in the eyes is helping a lot, too. Thanks for your input guys, I'm glad there are people out there who care enough to do so! (Still researching Morgellons)

Smoky, the below link is an excellent article by Dr. Jarvis on Folk Medicine in Vermont.
From the article: "My object was to rout these cattle grubs by means of the apple cider vinegar and iodine combination; this would demonstrate, to me at least, what the combination would do in the way of making the body as a host unsuitable soil for the development and continuing existence of microorganisms, viruses, insects, and other parasites."
He had great success.... Please read the article.
Are you drinking ACV as well as putting it in your bath? If you do start taking ACV and iodine internally I would love to hear your results. If you add the iodine to your water, it will also kill most of the parasites in the water.

Dear Smoky, You described exactly what I am dealing with! Where is Central Pa? Is it near Hatfield Pa? I live in the suburbs outside of Phila. Pa. Anyway, I too see bright silver hairlike worms or snakes (not sure what to call them! ) squiggling aroundcoming out of my hair! It just started over the weekend. I only took a closer look at my head because I felt a crawling sensation all over my head. I looked with a magnifying glass and saw exactly what you desribed!! Also, noticed a small white looking egg (larvae)at the root of strand, and a teeny tiny little curl at the end of strand, similar to a tiny like worm. I have been fighting parasites for over 5 years but this is sending me completely over the edge! Does anybody know what this "thing/parasite is called? I am in desperate search of answers! I will try the flea shampoo, thank you for that info. I am wondering if this is enviromentally related since it is unheard of and we both live in Pa.? PLEASE help before my family commits me or I commit myself!!

I am in Philadelphia and I am experiencing everything you mentioned. Two months in and getting referred to infectious disease. I have videos of strange things coming in and out of my skin and moving around. Hairs on my arm standing straight on end and almost look like electrical pulses shooting out of the end while it dances around. I have one of what looks like a white glob jump off my rear and onto the toilet while I was going to the bathroom. I also have what looks like teeny tiny moths flying out of my hair off my clothes and off my body. I am staying in hotels because the place I was staying at was no longer habitable. That's where I think I contracted this unless it was with dogs. The people that live there before I did were from India. I feel that whatever these things are there now affecting my lungs heart intestines and possibly brain. I feel similar to congestion and then I can feel the moving in my throat and then when I cough I can feel them moving in my mouth. I get strange pains in my chest head and stomach. I also get strange pains in my joints and bones. I also developed a new cyst on my head around the time that this started. They just gave me a high dose of medicine that they use for scabies and it didn't work except for making them come out of my skin more which causes them to infest the environment more. I have no idea how they're going to cure this thing when they come out and then they get into the environment. That's how I think I get infected in the first place is from them going through my skin. I am suffering really really bad which I'm sure there's others that are as well. I can barely sleep or eat anymore and my hair is falling out bad. I feel bad for my family and friends who deal with me and my stress if anybody has any solutions please tell me please.

Head Lice- I am by no means a health professional, but I am a mother of 3 and I have very long hair myself, FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE and passing the advice down to every mother at my children's school- LICE MD is the BEST for lice that I have found, of course- followed with ACV! Lice MD is NON TOXIC, however it kills the lice and the eggs by a smothering effect, and it is VERY oily, so the eggs slide right off, I don't know if you ever had lice as a kid, but the nasty smelly stuff my mom put on my hair never worked, and then the endless PAINFUL combing ripped all of what hair I had left out (because she would cut it off to my shoulders)
Anyways, you can also leave this on as long as you like (at least 10 min) but you could even sleep in it if you want, and use it every day if you please to make sure they are all dead... It's NON TOXIC and has no smell, it's kind of a pain in the butt getting the oil out, that was until I was given the gift of knowledge about ACV and BS! Regardless, the Lice MD is not bad on your hair at all, oily is not pretty, but it is a good treatment, and IT WORKS AFTER! USE!!! I can remember having to do my hair over and over and over again as a child, and having to wait 10 days in between, not with this- you will only need to do one treatment, but I of course did 2 just to be sure! Lol, but you can use it daily if you want! Then of course be sure to treat bedding, furniture, brushes, etc... Oh ya, there is also a Lice MD hair gel that you can use as a maintenance type thing daily to prevent head lice :) Just thought I would share with you, I LOVE THIS SITE! I am very new to being "GREEN" and "ORGANIC" and staying away from "MODERN DOCS AND THEIR CRAP" However, since I have started taking baby steps, I find that a whole new world is being shown to me, one that actually makes sense! Anyways, I'm rambling, But Thanks to all of you! LOTS OF GREAT INFO ON HERE!!

you know, Sorry to keep adding, but after re-reading the post from you and "Donna" , something just clicked, I too have been losing hair, and feeling like my scalp was going crazy, but I researched and figured it was just an iodine deficiency and possible vitamin d, so I started taking supplements as well as going "noo poo" with the BS and ACV (just started 4 days ago) anyways, when I read Donna's post about the root and the strand of the hair, It just clicked that my hair looks the same way, and it seems that I trim it, and it never fails, I get the little white weird looking ends of the hair strands again, I even thought it was my chi iron, but I quit using it for a while and they are back... Also, I always feel like I have something in my eye, it is getting worse and worse, I keep switching mascara, but thats not helping... You had mentioned that you both live in the same area and that just got my brain thinking I guess, because... Recently, I let my aunt come and stay with me and she always picked at her eye lashes, when I asked her why.... She said that she kept getting these almost impossible to see little thin hairs in there and she would have to rub and pick so much to find them that she would irritate her eye horribly! Crazy enough, I honestly never put the two together.
Another thing that probably has nothing to do with it is the fact that she has really dark circles under her eyes and has for awhile now, as well as I can remeber about 5-7 yrs ago, she use to have the most beautiful, thick, blonde hair and now it is straw like, brittle, thin, and gray (she is 38! ) There is a point to this... My hair has always been really, really thick, and my complexion has always been pretty good, and well maintained, My hair is now falling out, getting thin, brittle, and almost fried looking, dark circles under my eyes, little "hairs" in my eyes all the time, (I keep emergency eye wash in my purse! ) and I have these lil bumps coming up on my face, almost like a heat rash... The one thing that is helping my face is Tea Tree anticeptic face wash.... I recently started the ACV and iodine routine, and I have noticed that my face gets really flushed right about the time I take the ACV, it does subside, but for about and hour it is pretty red... I wonder if this is the ACV pushing the little critters out, in a detox way? Just a thought....hmmmm???

Any updates?
Listen everything you're discribing sounds like Morgellons disease; and I happened to be convinced that it's parasiting, but it's not proven to be in a clinical enviroment.
I am not a doctor, but have researched it.
If you say you see these same parasites in your water samples, it's important you call your local disease center and get these samples examined immediately. If in fact you could have Morgellons, and you have the parasite linked to the water supply it could be a huge break through.

Stephanie, for the itchy scalps, your family may benefit from making your own borax shampoo, you can google it or search within EC, add an essential oil like tea tree or eucalyptus. It helped my children and I with itchy scalps from different causes. Borax internally would be something to consider also. You may also research how people have successfully applied castor oil for hair loss and encouraged growth. Best to you.

I too have the “whitesnake†symptoms, crawling scalp, itchy skin on legs, crawling in the down under region. It seems to be worse in the hairy spots so to speak. The root of my hair looks abnormal, sometimes I see a white “thread†type thing wrapped around the hair root. It is certainly not lice, as I have had a lice professional out to the house. It seems I am the only one in the family who is bothered by it. If it is waterborne would not all members have it? It was just today that I saw the beast under the microscope. Looks just like a miniature snake. I was looking for a bug the whole time. Not that there may not be that also. Any infectious disease Doctors out there heard of this?
