Can I Use DMSO in a Nebulizer?

Posted by Jax (London, Uk) on 05/12/2016

I was initially diagnosed with emphysema in view of an X-ray, normal FEV readings made it temporarily inconclusive while I wait for further tests.

I've had a persistent cough for almost 5 months, sputum stopped only recently, but I can still feel inflammation in my lungs and I cough every day.

I wonder if someone had success treating a similar condition nebulising DMSO, perhaps combined with something else (colloidal silver?)

And if so, in what amounts? Also I have an Omron MicroAir NE-U22 and I'm wondering if the solution plastic container will be able to handle the DMSO.

most plastics are resistant to DMSO . I would not see a problem mixing dmso +colloidal silver for use in a nebulizer however colloidal silver is attracted to certain plastics and may stain them .

when I get lung congestion I take a bunch of garlic crush it up pretty well then add a little DMSO . a pill bottle works just fine . I then inhale the dmso / garlic vapors frequently throughout the day .

no need to carry a nebulizer just to inhale DMSO when you can carry it in your pocket

Another cheap but effective thing too try is Bill Munro's inhalation method of hydrogen peroxide mist inhaled deep into the lungs.

My uncle at age 83 had severe pneumonia. He had very little airspace and was on oxygen plus several types of antibiotics which all proved ineffective for his drug resistant germs . he suffered for the better part of 2 months until I told him about peroxide spray mist. He tried it and was cleared of pneumonia in 3 days.

Systemic enzymes like serrapeptase would be immensely helpful for you. They digest away the biofilm that accumulates in your lungs. And they act like antibiotics. Enzymes eat foreign proteins found in the blood stream. Bacteria need to make a cell wall and serrapeptase eats their proteins for lunch

you need every square inch of free airspace, anything taken up by mucus and biofilm reduces your breathing

Glad you know about DMSO for emphysema, I think it will do you a world of good my friend.

My wife is on (10%-DMSO) and Colloidal-Silver through the Nebulizer.

We separately do 5ml (10%-DMSO) and then 5ml Colloidal.

Her terrible coughing has improved 90% within the first day.

She had Asthma as a child.

Would you give a specific drops of DMSO and distilled water for nebulizer?

"I was also told I had emphysema in the upper part of my lungs. I had two strokes due to a blocked left carotid artery. I bought DMSO to work on my scar, and the scar shrank pretty quickly. I also rub it on my chest. Then I bought a nebulizer and added 70/30 DMSO. I did the treatment every day for a week, and now twice a week for maintenance. This is how I cured my COPD."

Start with 90ml of water/10ml of DMSO and increase slowly. Try what works for you... Get well soon.

Can anyone advise me of a DMSO compatible Nebuliser mask set?

I currently use a DJMed mask set which is list on Amazon as being made from Polycarbonate (PC) and Polypropylene (PP).

I have read that the compatibility of DMSO with various materials is as listed below:
• Compatible: LDPE, HDPE, polypropylene, PPCO (polypropylene copolymer), polymethylpentene, nylon, teflon FEP
• Moderately compatible: polystyrene, ECTFE/ETFE
• Incompatible: polysulfone, flexible and rigid PVC tubing, polycarbonate

As Polycarbonate is listed as incompatible I am searching for a DMSO compatible mask set. Various web searches have so far been unsuccessful, with materials not listed for many mask sets.
