Questions About Diatomaceous Earth for IC

Hi
Does anyone have experience or any information regarding the use of diatomaceous earth with interstitial cystitis? Can it cause or aggravate this condition? Thank you in advance, regards, L.

DE actually helped my IC. I had taken a break from DE at 10 days (taking 1 tsp/day), and on the second day of my break I had a flare of my IC. So I decided to restart the DE that same day as the flare, and my IC pain was gone within hours. I've continued to take the DE and have since increased up to 1-2 tbs/day, and I've not had a problem with my IC since.
