Eye Inflammation and Swelling

Posted by Naroon (Iran) on 05/23/2024

Last year, my eye got an infection due to a contaminated lens. I went to the doctor and was treated. After that, the swelling and pain in my eye did not get better, and sometimes my eyelid droops. Don't tell me that my eyes are healthy, but I still suffer from drooping and swelling of my eyes, and sometimes my eyes hurt. Does anyone have a similar experience or a doctor, please help me.

My eyes have been tearing up which makes them burn like the dickens! The only thing I've found to stop it is castor oil but I think my issue might be a bit of herx from something I've been using.

For infection, I'd apply charcoal patches to both eyes, put a sleep mask on to hold them in place and take a nap.

Charcoal house has a good, super simple video that shows how to make charcoal patches. I'd make a couple, pop them in the fridge to firm up, cut them into eye-sized pieces and keep them in a ziplock in the fridge so I could apply them when I go to bed or just whenever I could take time to lie down for a while but it's going to feel extra good no matter when you apply them so...plus, eye-sized patches would also be perfect for bad bee stings, mosquito and spider bites so I'd be covered for that, too!
