Natural Remedies for Husband With Inguinal Hernia
My DH has copd, pretty bad but managing it. He's had collapsed lung several times already and isn't as strong as I'd like him to be at this point. He's 73 yrs old. Now he's developed an inguinal hernia. I did some research and have ordered him the comfrey poultice from Hunter's Health. I will also get him a truss to support it. Is there anything else I can do for him? At present, he's being careful to support it if he coughs or exerts himself. It is uncomfortable for him later in the day due to gravity. The dr said talk to a surgeon but I don't know that he would tolerate surgery very well due to his weak overall condition and definitely couldn't be anesthetized, would have to be a local.
What should I watch out for? I know that worsening pain means head to the ER. Anything else to watch for or do? Thanks.
Ps--what's the word on Ted? We pray for him daily but haven't seen any updates.

Thank you, Gerrit, for your response but, I'm sorry, there's no way my DH could go raw. He has a hard time getting enough calories as it is, with soups and broth, but there's no way he'd get enough calories by eating only raw. Besides the work of chewing, raw implies 'not hot' and when you are low on calories you stay cold. Is there anything I can do to help fix his hernia besides going raw? He takes vitamin and mineral supplements as well as Blackstrap Molasses and cod liver oil daily and is very thin.

Hi, from your response I assume that you didn't even bother to check out Robert Morse ND. I have watched hunderd's of vedio's from him and had 2 hernia's fixed myself and I'm 87. This can't be fixed overnight so to speak. What started with DH mother is part of him now and needs a healer to fix and the ND's are the healers. They understand the body. how it works and what needs fixing.Raw fruit is not that hard to take and according to Robert is were the healing power is, not the vegies. Educate yourself.
Take care,
Gerrit

Ok, Gerrit, I didn't check out the videos before replying to your post. I was at work and wasn't even supposed to be on EC, so had to reply quickly. Maybe it was a knee jerk reaction, but there it is. Not everyone has constant access to the internet. We do fruit anyway, but he can't eat but so much. The more food he has in his belly the less room for his lung to expand, so he has to pick if he wants to eat or breathe. Everyone is unique. We will follow the alkalizing tips by Ted as well as eating fruit. Thank you for your assistance.
