Can ACV Delay a Period?
Is it possible for ACV to delay the periods?
I have been diagnosed with fibroids and endometriosis a 3-4years ago. My doctor put me on many treatments including BCP and Lupron shots that I did for 6 moths last year. After my periods returned following the lupron, they have been gradually heavier with huge clots and heavier flows to the point where I am anemic most of the time.
Last month my period were so heavy, I lost so much blood that I had to had Iron intraveinously and was put on iron pills too. I heard about this website and started the Apple Cider Vinegar (1tbs in warm water two times a day), along with the iron pills (1 hour apart).
My question is that I have been having a very regular flow (although heavy) prior to the ACV. My period is a few days late, the pregnancy test is negative. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this? Should I stop with the ACV? How do I induce my period?

Dear Mary, It seems that others have reported that periods were delayed by using ACV. But I think it is also possible that you could be experiencing amenorrhea (lack of periods) because of the great stress you body has been under due to severe anemia. I know I once had a three month absence of periods because of great physical stress from illness.
Since you have been so anemic I would not consider a break from periods to be a bad thing. If you are trying to conceive, you might still want to let your body take this rest. Or you could certainly stop the ACV and see if your period returns. Let me know what you try and what happens.

Wow. I started taking ACV last week daily for the health reasons and now my period is late by 3 days. I thought I may be pregnant or something, hopefully it's the ACV
