Lesion on Gums: Need Help Healing It and Wondering What Could Have Caused I

Posted by Beverly (Pa) on 09/14/2020

A few weeks ago, my gums along the right side of mouth were sore and tender so I start doing oil pulling with Coconut Oil. It then turned into a long, split where the gums pulled away from the teeth and it looked like a fungus in the gums. It was about 2 inches long! I went to a dentist and he said he never saw anything like it. He took xrays and saw that a crowned tooth on the side was bad and needs pulled but did not think it caused the sore.

He sent me to an Oral Surgeon who also never saw anything like it. Both these Drs are in their 60's and in practice for many years! The Oral Surgeon did a Biopsy, which I won't know the results for another week. But in the meantime, he put me on Clindamycin (allergic to Penicillin). I haven't had any antibiotics in many years because even though I am 68, I rarely get sick and when I do I come here and use natural remedies with much success. I did have Breast Cancer 9 yrs ago, it did not spread but had to have Mastectomy but no Chemo or Radiation treatments afterwards!

I did want to mention that because I am worried this could be another Cancer attacking my body! In the meantime, where he did the Biopsy, the area is really raw and hurts. I wondered if anyone ever heard of such a thing! Or am I a phenomenon like the one Dr said! Someone said it could be an Autoimmune Disease or even a severe Vitamin deficiency. Any help with what to put on my gums to heal them at least from the biopsy making them hurt. Not sure if anything would clash with the antibiotic.

Beverly, if it's not too painful, salt water rinses can't hurt and might help. See if you can get Celtic or Himalayan salt.

I would spray Colloidal Silver on the spot and also drink a little. God bless and help you! Also, I agree with Patty Lamb to use honey and apple cider vinegar as well.

Beverly...anytime I have any kind of soreness in my mouth I take L-Lysine. It's an amino acid our bodies don't make, but we need it.

Perhaps it was trapped fungus and it found it's way out via your gums, it was your first instinct. If it is stubborn it may have a biofilm in which one could try swishing with xylitol (kills biofilm), antibacterial...

My gums get sore and left unchecked, it turns into ulcers in my mouth, with huge holes that look like burns, and I belive is connwcted to my diverticulitus. If I eat a raw vegatable, get immediate diarrhea, then the ulcers start. Ive learned to watch tomatoes and spicy foods, take digestive enzymes and colloidal silver, it helps. Gums will still be sore, but no painful huge ulcers and holes. Lysine and peroxide also.

You could try making your own mouthwash by soaking frankincense tears in organic vodka. Just throw some in the bottle n the tears will dissolve into the vodka, you can also add olive leaf extract (which is an anti-fungal), myrrh tincture etc but you have to have edible grade quality. You can put this on a 1/2 cotton round n soak it on the area as needed and that may help as well. After the tears have dissolved some pour it into a jar n add about 1/3 distilled water and then just leave the remaining vodka & tears in the main vodka bottle n store that for when your mouthwash runs out.

I would always use a clean jar once my jar empties rather than refilling because there is a portion of water in all alcohol making it so it is most likely susceptible to a certain amount of bacteria of course. I think the Dentist’ have antibiotic shots you may be able to request as well if you prefer that route. Also turmeric is a blood purifier n can be put directly into empty capsules.

Teeth problems can be serious so if you cannot resolve your problem then your should most likely have it checked. I believe Ginger is also anti fungal and I like blend it in a little water with xilotol & stevia & then add Perrier water. You can also just put organic ginger in an empty capsule.

If it is an inflammation or fungus try thyme or sage they are effective against bacteria and are gentle to your natural beneficial mouth whip. You can chew some fresh sage leaves, often during the day, or dip it with essential oil.

DO NOT use alcohol it kills your natural bacteria culture, and avoid any junk food, white flower sugar meat. Go vegetarian
Brush with coconut oil mixed with backing powder.

Tee tree oil and castor oil would also be an option.

For me it is hard to believe that honey should be an option, and be aware of fake honey (common in US) burned sugar.

Good luck.
