Mucus clot with congealed blood

Greetings, Everyone!

I've been experiencing an issue with a mucus clot developing and attaching to the back of my throat every night - and I mean attached. When I cough it up in the morning or later in the day, it looks as though it has bonded with my throat because there is what looks like congealed blood at the base of the plug. It's flat and oval usually, and approx. 1/2" in diameter. It concerns me.

A little over a year ago I took a puff from a vape pen and it burned the back of my throat. It hurt for week, then went away. Later I developed this issue. I have no pain in my throat now with the clot when it comes out.

I do not smoke. I don't want to see a doctor because of their Pharm mentality, and I need your thoughts and advice if you've ever experienced and treated this issue before. Thanks for your input!

With the limited information about your past health issues provided. What pops into my mind is it could be candida overgrowth or cancer lesion (throat cancer).

Do a spit taste to narrow what it's not. https://reginanaturopathicdoctor.com/the-spit-test-for-candida/

After the spit test, start gargling a mixture of 1oz water with 1/4 teaspoon sea salt and 5 drops lugol's iodine for 5 minutes just before bedtime and in the morning.

Do this for about 2 weeks to see if it clears up.

If it does not, find a good ENT doctor to get a clear determination as to what it is. There are many natural remedies for all diseases.
