Sudden burning in throat and mouth - with no breaks

Hello! I have suffered with my health issues for a large part of the past 10 years, one gets fixed and another comes. I have only battled it naturally which is quite honestly exhausting.. I am eating semi healthy, mostly organic and no gluten nor lactose or sugar, no sweeteners or much salt, but I don't eat too regularly (single moms, you know my pain), I go to sleep with my stomach full at times and I do like creamy sauces so I add some lactose free cream to most meals. I have never really had stomach problems but have battled all the other things. I like coffee and I do smoke a quarter to half a pack of cigarettes a day. I drink a glass of two of wine per week but since I developed a rash I switched to Jâger which is supposed to be good for the stomach. I take supplements according to what's bothering me and I don't remember the last time when something wasn't.

I am usually chill and calm but after so many years of different things, I learned too much about too many diseases and became a hypochondriac. However, like they say, just because you're paranoid don't mean they're not after you… Over the New year, I had some pain in lower left stomach. I later developed an UTI. Then my kidneys started hurting. Then my back. I have recurring nerve issues where something gets numb or I get jittery and dizzy. Then it was my upper left stomach. I treated it all one by one naturally and the stomach issue got better - then the day after I became super nauseous and dizzy and had to cancel my work. I have had a burning mouth syndrome going back and forth. I also have had a dry throat and sometimes bloody spit. I have had dry throat and pain back and forth but it has resolved in the past. I have several dental problems but the blood seems to come from some kind of movable growth on both sides of the roof of the mouth. I have no Insurance nor money for private care. Would I get a bad diagnosis after years of worrying, and no means to actually get treatment Im afraid it would crash me mentally. Now at least I get to pretend it's nothing and try to deal with it naturally. Don't judge me. I have trusted doctors in the past and have been given medicine that ultimately resulted in my body almost giving in. My dad died from his cancer treatment and I have no confidence in that profession and that is ALL I hear from everyone “go to the doctor “, so if that's the advise you have for me, I have heard it already.

So to the last week - I developed some kind of burning in my throat and chest. First I thought it was a heart attack (my mum got one just a few years older than I am now), hard time breathing and pressure. I couldn't take any cayenne because of the burning in my oesophagus and I was afraid it could be an ulcer. The chest thing got better but the burning in chest and throat got worse. I don't have a reflux I feel but heartburn from hell- and it's only better while eating just to return to burning afterwards. It's been a full 10 days now and no breaks or pauses in the burning feeling. I have taken ACV, bicarbonate, pickles, calcium carbonate, mineral water, liquorice, thyme, apples, mustard, almonds —ZERO relief from anything. I don't sleep and eat less and less. The relief while eating is just preparation for horrid burning from everything afterwards. Even water burns. Nothing in the world helps. I have cut in coffee and smoking, to one cup of coffee and 3 cigarettes daily but there is no relief, just worse. I'm really opposed to Omeprazol, Prosilec and such but I am getting desperate. I am out of Mastic gum and it's too expensive to order right now. I also don't have zinc carnosine at the moment but had seven, took all of them over 3 days and nothing.

I have discovered a red patch on the roof of my mouth that Google kindly straight up identified as cancer or precancerous. I went for an Oberon session but the guy doing it wasn't super good at it, it clearly showed some bad activity around throat and oesophageal area, like inflammation or irritation and all the way down to the stomach so his guess was not mouth or throat cancer but something with acid or indigestion. I am however scared because whatever I throw at it, it doesn't budge. I also have a feeling of constant oily surface in my mouth and kind of a cold feeling when I breath in. I have searched the entire internet for what it is and it seems to be only a handful of people who have ever experienced it with doctors dismissing them and no answer. I don't know why I always get crap that nobody has and have to go through this every 2 weeks. Most days I wish I was never born but have to go in for my boy. And believe it or not, before the freaking health struggles I was the happiest person alive. That annoying always positive person who always finds a light in everything. Now my son runs to get a phone when he sees me smile because it's so rare. I have tried homeopathy too, and nothing. It sounds strange, but I have never had acid reflux in my life. I have struggled with my sons acid so I have changed his diet and also mine because of it - except for coffee and few cigarettes I eat healthy.

A lot of veggies every day, organic meat, no lactose, just gluten free bread and avocado daily- seldom tomatoes and no citrus. I am basically already on anti acid diet. I'm truly worried and perplexed and the advise online is often contradictory and confusing and something straight up fear mongering. I am running in 22 hours of sleep in the past 10 days, I am alone with my boy and have to get up and work, and clean, and cook and wash and I'm just struggling not to vomit or faint and am running on fumes.

I would appreciate any insight, any tip, any guess (just please no horrid diagnosis, Google told me all the worst things already). I am also doing binaural beats and Rife frequencies on YouTube but nothing is working so far.

Thank you for letting me vent and please chime in if you have any ideas…

xoxo

Hi, WHAT Happens when you fast for 24-48 hrs.?????? Does the burning stop? If so, it is a sign of what you eat.

No improvement, The third day I didnt eat for 19 hours, no improvement. Not better after sleep and I haven't really eaten anything substantial the past 9 days so I am too weak to experiment right now but it doesn't seem to be connected. In 'the first few days when it started I actually felt better while eating and some minutes later and then got much worse after going without food for a while. Even water burns.

The cause could be autoimmune or neurological. Rinsing won't help. Read my comment, “LDN for glioblastoma.” Go to LDN research trust site to learn more.

... "Burning mouth syndrome is a chronic pain condition characterized by a burning sensation of the oropharynx. The pathophysiology of burning mouth syndrome includes peripheral and central sensitization. Treatment is generally aimed at symptom reduction. We describe a woman in her seventh decade with burning mouth syndrome that had been refractory to treatment for nearly a decade. Low-dose naltrexone has been reported to provide analgesia in central sensitization states and was successful in reducing pain severity in our patient. We conclude that low-dose naltrexone may be a therapeutic option for patients with burning mouth syndrome who are refractory to conventional therapies."

For acid reflux you can drink fennel seed tea. My husband fixed the heartburn with it, the relief is instant. Slippery elm helps as well, he drinks it almost every day.

*** DO NOT TAKE ANTI ACID MEDICATION!

You might need to check if you have diverticular disease (my husband has it). The most common symptom of diverticular disease is intermittent (stop-start) pain in your lower abdomen (stomach), usually in the lower left-hand side (fennel seed tea and slippery elm help quite a lot).

Check if you have Helicobacter pylori (my husband had it). Significant evidence suggests the potential role of Helicobacter pylori infection in the development of gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Some other of H. pylori symptoms: brain fog, thyroid, allergies, fatigue, parasites, and many other chronic illnesses.

All the best to you, I hope you will get better however, final thought, seeing a doctor is not a bad idea, not all the doctors are useless.

I have been drinking fennel tea and taking DGL, zinc- l-carnosine and slippery elm. There is no improvement, unfortunately. I have taken natural anti acids and noticed maybe a minor improvement yesterday but the burning and nausea still there 24/7. Took Mastic gum in case it was H Pylori, did nothing so I assume it's not that.

I have talked to several doctors in my family (have plenty! ) and they all said Omeprazol and no other solution, and talked about how I will get cancer if I don't start now which made me feel even worse and anxious. I'm sorry, but they are all like that. They are indoctrinated and can only quote medical books and give medicine. I'm aware it's different in Eastern Europe, East, even USA, but in Western Europe doctors are like factory workers and there is no space for reasoning. They make you feel inadequate, like an idiot and they gaslight you until you do as they learned you should. I had quicksilver poisoning due to an amalgam filling bursting and me swallowing it. I also got Rho Gam later the same month. I trusted them and ran around and they literally told me I needed a psychologist.

When suggested by an East European doctor to check my quicksilver levels, I was told it's a “myth” and that there was no clinical institution doing such tests as it's not real. I am not kidding. When my liver showed that it was bad, I was told it was due to the vitamins I was taking (vitamin C and B 6 at the time) . When I told the doctor you pee out these vitamins and they can't harm your liver, she told me that they had only 1 page on vitamins in med school because it's completely “irrelevant “. I had to travel to another country to take tests and find out I had a poisoning. I was told to take FLOURIDE PILLS while PREGNANT. And I did? Me being paranoid as I am, I'm pretty sure that any sorts of diagnosis would send into a tailspin and especially if the prognosis is bad and I know I can't afford treatment. It is what it is. Will pray for betterment…Thank you! So happy your husband got it under control!

Hi Charo/Sarah,

Tonsil stones might be the issue. My husband went to the doctor multiple times. He had a sore throat and ear pain, they couldn't find any problems. Dr google helped us again. He was able to remove them by himself.
