Ted's Remedies for Gout - Question About Lithium Chloride

Posted by peter (chicago) on 09/24/2023

Gout pain per TED - ART please help how to mix this formula.

ART Please help

DMSO 30 GRAM 100mg Lithium chloride mixed with 1cc water and then apply?

Can I use 100mg Lithium powder from Amazon to mix in water?

Per TED

I would prefer DMSO mixed 30 cc (30 grams), in a dropper bottle mixed with 100 mg of Lithium chloride with a bit of water such as 1 cc (one gram) of water. Mixed the lithium chloride and water first, once dissolved, then I would add pure DMSO to the solution. Then I would apply topically where the gout is bad. This bypasses the stomach due to infection possibly h. pylori or paratuberculosis. You may need treatment for that healing and killing of the parasites later on, such as with humid acid, lysine, and vitamin C, at least, but that requires more than a month of healing. An easy way is to take curcumin 5 times a day. The gout can be controlled with restrictive control of sugar, fats and some meats. Fats basically limit lymphatic drainage which worsens the gout.

With this remedy you should feel relief in 5 minutes, but more if you don't want any pain, but should disappear in 1 to 3 days.

Peter,

I have no experience with Ted's remedy of lithium chloride, distilled water and DMSO, so I can't really comment on what grade of lithium chloride he would use.

On a related note, have you considered testing Grape Seed Proanthocyanidin Extract (GSPE) for the gout pain? Seems simpler and easier and it provides other health benefits besides relief of gout pain as discussed here :

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5381065/

Here is a relevant quote :

' Procyanidins significantly attenuated gout pain and suppressed ankle swelling. Procyanidins also inhibited MSU-induced activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome and increase of IL-1β. Furthermore, procyanidins decreased ROS levels in Raw 264.7 cells. '

In another study GSPE helped to reduce uric acid which is needed in gout :

https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/09731296221145069#:~:text=GSE reduced oxalate crystal numbers, peroxidation and the inflammatory mediators.

Here is a relevant quote :

' GSE reduced oxalate crystal numbers and urolithiasis promoters, including excreted calcium, oxalate, phosphate, and uric acid excretion, lessened renal function parameters, and declined lipid peroxidation and the inflammatory mediators. '

I use this product at the label recommended dose of 3 capsules per day :

One that you are already familiar with that you can consider is Berberine because it has shown the ability to lower high uric acid levels that are common in gout. Another that some people have reported benefit from is Sodium Bicarbonate, but the dose is likely to add significantly to your sodium intake.

Please comeback and let us know what you decide to do and how it works for you, Peter.

Peter,

I forgot to mention why Ted chose to use topically applied lithium chloride over oral. While lithium will dissolve uric acid crystals, the oral dose required to do that is toxic for humans. By dissolving the 100 mg of lithium chloride in 1cc of water and then delivering it through the skin with the added 30 cc of dmso, it can likely get to the uric acid crystals in the joint at a relatively low and safer dose of lithium chloride. I haven't used it myself, but thought I would explain the thinking behind Ted's remedy.
