Itchy Skin Rash Preventing Sleep for 9 Months

Posted by Mike (Salisbury, Uk) on 04/30/2018

In august of 2017 I went to see my doctor with a skin rash, my doctor had no idea what they were looking at so a skin expert was called in from my local hospital, they had no idea what they were looking at so they took a stomach sample and had it tested, only to tell me that I was diabetes type 2 and that I was being refered to a private hospital, where I had a gut op where they took a sample to check if I had dermatitis herpetiformis, some weeks later it was confirmed that I have to only eat gluten free food. I also was put on dapsone the chemist that I went to had never heard of dapsone so they had to order it up 7 time ive had to waite for them to get the tablets in and guess what the rash came back so being on a gluten free diete has not done any good. I then had to go back to the private hospital for a further gut op just to see how my gut was doing and that I was to stop taking dapsone competly, guess what within 48 hours the rash was back, I know being refered to a dermatology department at my local hospital to see why this rash keeps coming back.

9 months have passed and I am right back where I started, to say that I'm angry is putting it mildly. For 9 months I've had to put with my skin burning my skin itching and next to no sleep of a night time. I'm 71 this year 2018 I've paid my tax and stamp to the government for 50 years and this is how I'm being treated. mike.

Hi Mike, some baths with added Epsom salts, sea salt and clay may give you some relief for your skin, soak minimum half hour. For long term relief, though, you need to work out what you are consuming that is causing these problems. People are often told to avoid gluten when it's the grains and how they are treated that is the problem. Think pesticides, gmos, chemicals. You may try avoiding all grains for a time, see if any improvement, otherwise the next step is eliminate dairy. Blend fruit and veggies to ensure you are getting the goodness from them, you could have absorbency issues. Add a wholefood vitamin c, natural d3, Magnesium and a refrigerated probiotic from the health food store. These are the basics to support your immune system and your gut.

On a perhaps unrelated note, Grovers is a pronounced skin irritation condition, ECers are currently being helped (significantly) by ingesting daily half to a bunch of cilantro. I am currently unsure if the benefit of from the specific vitamins and minerals it contains, or it's heavy metals chelating properties. Either way it's something easy you might consider and research further. Unfortunately I am not familiar with diabetes meds, you will have to research for yourself and contraindications with your meds. Best to you

Hi, I am not diabetic; but I have had an apparently undiagnosable itchy skin rash for many years, which has ruined my previously clear skin on my neck, arms and thighs. Other than the fact that it is an erythemic rash (which can have many causes), no one has had any ideas.

At one time, I got weekly or bi-weekly nutritional I.v.'s, which were just C and B's. After a month, the rash cleared up. I had to move away and the rash came back about a month after my last I.v.. I wracked my brain and decided to find out if there were a more bio-available form of the vitamins, which, as it turns out, there is: liposomal.

I first ordered liposomal C. No effect. Then, I ordered liposomal B's (a product called Liposomal Methyl B Complex by Quicksilver). Again, after using for a month, the rash cleared up. It's over $50/month, so I had to quit. After a month off, the rash returned.

It sounds like you have Valley Fever, which is a mold in the earth/sand.

I always look for answers and found Eric Berg teaching on youtube, he ruined his health while studying to be a doctor and he teaches the basics with detailed explanations

He implies B vitamins and Zinc in the video for skin issues

Skin issues are sometimes related to gut health. Garlic and kefir may clear it all up for you. Get the best you can. Organic, pastured, whole milk kefir plain. The garlic raw with fresh lemon and cold pressed organic olive oil: a few cloves of garlic, 1/2 the whole lemon cut in pieces skin and all, 2 tablespoons of olive oil blended with clean water and drunk daily. The kefir maybe two quarts a day away from the garlic drink. A dozen raw organic pastured raw eggs every day. That is what I would do in your place. You can mix colloidal silver and/or Lugol's iodine into the garlic drink just before drinking it. Cilantro, parsley, carrot, and cabbage juice would probably also help.
